Since 1829, Bollinger has been producing great champagnes with a powerful, sophisticated and complex style.

Brilliant wines resulting from high standards of quality, which strive for constant perfection right down to the smallest detail.

With its uncompromisingly independent spirit and an unostentatious distinction, in 1884 it was awarded the very prestigious Royal Warrant from the British Royal Family, designating them as official purveyors to the Court.

The Bollinger style is supported by solid foundations, underpinned by five tangible truths:

  • The House’s own vineyards, which account for 60% of the total grape supply.
  • The Pinot Noir, by far the dominant grape variety within the range.
  • The collection of magnums of reserve wines, the keystone of Special Cuvée.
  • Fermentation in barrels, a practice that has almost disappeared from the Champagne region.
  • The time: Bollinger ages all of its cuvees for an extended time.

These five realities bring out the unique style of the House: the Bollinger taste.
